CAN THE WORLD'S LARGEST ANNUAL WOMEN'S HEALTH EVENT SHOW OHIO COMMUNITIES HOW IT HELPS THEM ALL YEAR LONG? 

 

Everybody associates Komen with the fight against breast cancer and its annual 5K Race For The Cure each spring. But few realize that their donations extend well beyond race day. We used the popular event to make people aware that what they give to Komen goes to work all year long, and most of it stays right in their community, helping area patients and families. The public awareness campaign included TV, radio, PR, social media, and event-day promotion featuring an interactive treadmill where participants were filmed for a continuously looping video.

 

Our "The Race Never Ends" TV spot won a Judge's Choice and two Gold ADDY Awards, and earned me my employer's first-ever EMMY Award nomination.
